After missing the Conrail engine on train 251 last Thursday (Some of us just cant pack up and leave work on a whim you know), I got a second chance on Saturday Morning. The nice warm, sunny weather that EB and the boys had on Thursday was long gone of course, but that worked well for the Northbound 264. I took EB's big tele and went to work, getting a few decent images despite the weather.

Here are a couple of my better shots from the quick trip out in the rain Saturday Morning. These, plus Two more of the 8098 are at the link on top of the page.  http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/ns2012carm

264 leaving Danville.

Thanks to them getting delayed at Faulkner by 289, we got back ahead of them near Burgin, and got it again as they cut through the mist at the signals at milepost 107.9
