NS 165 Emergency Hot Springs, NC

While out shooting trains today, I heard the East End Dispatcher tell NS 134 that he will meet 165 at Hot Springs.  A little bit later, 165 tells the dispatcher that they have gone into emergency for the second time in the siding at Hot Springs, meeting 134.  Broken coupler and air issues.  Dispatch instructs 134 to take the 165 conductor for a ride down the length of 165 at restricted speed for a visual inspection, then the conductor is to walk back up the distance of the train for a second inspection.  All the while, 162 is waiting at a distance behind 134 for this to clear up.  Eventually 134 and 162 will get by 165 for their trip eastward.

I took video of 134 and 162.  I will upload them next week after my trip to Roanoke this weekend.
