Train 316

NS 316T5  JUST ARRIVED AT SEVIER YD. OFF THE WEST END. POWER WAS UP 9081, UP 9129 & NS 6721 w/90 CARS. I'M NOT SURE IF IT CAME OFF THE "I" LINE AT CLEVELAND OR FROM DEBUTTS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN THIS TRAIN IN KNOXVILLE.  DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS A NEW TRAIN OR NOT? ANY INFO APPRECIATED. THANKS!

NS 316 is (or at least used to be) a BNSF Argentine Yd/Kansas City, KS to NS   Decatur, IL manifest. Its not unusal for numbers/routings to change though.

316 is an birmingham , al hump train being sent to knoxville for humping.   these are just a temp fix to  help ease the congestion at birmingham.  there have been several of these run this week.
