I was looking to do A small version of it and was wondering if anyone new of a sight of the cars and pics of them. I've heard of a fellow around my area was gonna do the whole train... my lord that's gotta be fun huh

That is a neat project, and those models are a way to represent the past in a prototypical way. Here are some threads that may be of help. You might try to search feature to see what else turns up, as these two threads are ones I recall from memory.

Thank ya I really would like to  super detail this train cause it's a nice lookin train and I have a few of the cars from an old con cor set I got when I was 10 so less to buy there thanks again

I hope that this helps, I also keep asking Bowser about NS F's and they keep telling me they can't say, so keep you fingers crossed for some nicely detailed F's that won't cost you an arm and a leg like the Overland Models F's.
