After several months of work, one of my  5 Athearn HH SD40-2s is near completion. All that remains is the installation of windshield wipers, some weathering of the sideframes and sills, and a way to make the piping that connects the brake cylinders on the trucks.

Who needs BLI and their HH SD40-2s?!

Looking good Todd.  And I thought the new baby was going to keep you from doing much modeling.  I don't even have that excuse for my lack of progress in recent months.

  It took 3-1/2 months to get the model to it's current stage and I still have a couple of things to add!  I get 4-6 hours per week to work on the models and most of that occurs during the late hours of the weekend. 1 almost down and 4 to go!
