conrail SD60m's released.

I got a call from the local hobby dealer today and he just got in 4 Athearn Genesis SD60M's in Conrail. 109 is what I ended up paying but these units have some pretty good detail.  As far as the packing job goes, I think Athearn really screwed it up. They have the bottom of the fuel tank screwed into a piece of wood that sits in the box and doesn't move. It's not surrounded by styrofoam and plastic like the previous models, this is definitely a new one so if you want to take it to a train show, I'd suggest getting a whole new box or else you'll have to unscrew the fuel tank, bolt it down to the wood piece and store it in the box. I'm finding a new box, Athearn should've left the original box alone. I haven't ran it yet but from the weight it seems like  a good runner.

How they pull, sound and look?

they pull great, better than the 70M's because they weigh a lot more. they look fantastic, i really couldn't ask for finer detail. sound- couldn't tell ya  ;D
