Well I need some info. I have been wanting a model of a NS catfish. I would really like to find something in Di-cast. I dont even know if that is even availabe. I would also be fine getting a electric model but it will never be ran. I am not sure what scale I would want. I would like to have a engine that would measure 8" across the front and how ever long that scales out to.
If any one can provide me with what scale that would be I appreciate. Also is there a none functioning loco in that scale? Which manufacture has the best detail and best prices.

Check this out. It's G-scale (1:29) and runs around $500.
Might be right up your alley, not quite the same dimensions, a little smaller, but I think it'll serve the purpose.
