Title: The end of a railroad tie painted or whitewashed white ?
Post by: nathan on April 10, 2006, 08:19:31 AM
I know the more knowledgable of you know exactly why one end of a tie is white. It signifies a creek bed or water going underneath the tracks. My question is why is it done? Why do they do this? Thanks for any information.
