You never know what you'll run across.  I found this http://blogs.sun.com/katysblog/category/Caboose+Project+and+Other+Trains reading a work related blog.  My daughters want me to get a caboose to put with my milemarkers in the back yard, but I don't think I could get my wife to agree to it.

Woodworking is my other hobby.  So building something like this for my 3 year old to climb all over is very tempting.  He loves trains and he'd have a blast with this thing.
