Import / export traffic question

This is pertaining to all the U.S. railroads, not just NS. 

I know import/export traffic at U.S. ports is primarily containerized (stack trains) or bulk trains (grain, coal, phosphate, etc.)  My question, is there any traditional boxcar traffic still handled at the ports?

some box cars are used in ports. ships still cary alot of stuff just sittin in the hold.
