CSX: Hamlet, NC questions

I am attending the NS Heritage get together on Tuesday, July 3rd, but the day before on Monday, July 2nd, I plan to visit CSX at Hamlet, NC.  Last time I was there was in 2006, so I have a few questions in case anything has changed.

(1) I will probably arrive in the 3-4pm timeframe.  What kind of rail traffic level could I expect this late in the day on a Monday?

(2) Where is the best public location to watch?

(3) Are the grounds where the old station resided now considered trespassing? Is it enforced quickly (it didn't used to be)?

(4) I have a 1996 list of radio frequencies.  Are there changes?
         160.590 - Yard A & B towers
         161.100 - Road Chanel
         160.920 - Dispatcher
         161.370 - Dispatcher
         161.520 - Dispatcher
         161.265 - Mobile to base

(5) I have two old scanners, Uniden BC70XLT and Uniden 210XLT.  Would those still work or is something newer required now?

(6) Finally, given the time of day, any safety issues?  Bug repellent required?
