Title: Southern 630 in Radford
Post by: Ptrainman on March 10, 2013, 11:51:39 AM
I was already up around Roanoke yesterday scouting for 630 next weekend so I figured I would catch her in Radford. First shot is 630 rounding the curve at Plum Creek headed back to Radford after turning at Walton. Next the massive rock cliff I was standing in front of blocks the sun off 630 as she heads for Radford. Last is the shot I had to get a boot full of water to get but I think it was worth it. 630 pounds south over the New River headed toward Bristol. There was a boat ramp here that had been my planned spot but people were camped out on that with chairs that had probably been there who knows how long so I had to do it the hard way and go down the bank into the water. I would have been fine if the rock my right foot was on hadn't ive way, but oh well.
