Saturday me and good friend made a trip to Cynthiana to pick up a tractor motor for his tractor. We arrived early in the morning and after a long wait we saw a southbound CSX manifest. Over an hour later we saw a southbound coal drag. We then ventured over to Sadieville on back country Rd 32. The search light was green for a northbound. After looking at the nice caboose and depot we ventured north on 25 hoping to find some southbounds in good afternoon light. We stoped at a wierd bridge at MP46 to overlook NS 376 as it headed north with a short train. Once again we were working our way north hoping to find some southbounds. 4 hours we waited and searched, finally after sunset we watched southbound 215 pass at the end of double track at Rice. We ventured the line from Sadieville to Rice in 4 hours and only saw 2 trains  But hey we had fun and we found all the great photo spots for our return trip this summer.  I Will be back!!
