Title: Mid Afternoon Trains On The Birmingham East End District
Post by: NSSpike on August 07, 2014, 08:52:53 PM
While out running a few errands I managed to catch a little mid afternoon action.
NS I7A (BRUNSWICK GA / VANCE ALA) with a single Dash 9-40C, NS 8854 providing the power works its way west toward CP Winston at the MP 664.1

NS I7A on the main line in Villa Rica passes local A25 in the siding, which will follow I7A west to Bremen Georgia to set out empty cars on the Bremen storage tracks. Both of these trains will see east bound 26A at Temple.

NS 26A (VANCE ALA / BRUNSWICK GA) had NS 9034 and 9486 for power and 36 loads
With thunderheads building to the west no real good way to get a photo worth sharing of this east bounder.

Love that Villa Rica shot! EMD's and the last of the decent looking GE's.
