Does Corporate Keep Each Model?

With the recent introduction of the Top Gon series from BLMA, a question came to mind . . .

Does someone (or some department) at the NS main offices in Norfolk, VA keep a sample of each "new"model of everything they approve for the model railroad industry?

That would be quite a collection, yet I could see the marketing / communication / logo-management crew wanting to preserve the paperwork, if not an actual model, of newly-released products.

Maybe someone on this Forum works in Norfolk and can respond.  TIA!
