I caught the circus train coming into Louisville the other morning. It had NS power. Announced elephant walk was scheduled for 9am. The train did not arrive in town until 9am. With Norfolk Southern power. CSX claimed NS was 6 hours late getting the train to Cincinnati. I figure they (NS) loaned them the engines to reduce transfer time? I'm not sure about other cities but in over two years of railfanning Louisville I have seen exactly one CSX engine on a NS train and exactly one Norfolk Southern engine on a CSX train. So I take it they are not that friendly here. But one is East to West and the other is North to South so I guess they don't swap here that much because of that.

Anyways.. CSX finally delivered the stock cars for animal unloading at 1pm. 4 hours late. I was told they released 4 northbound trains before they let the stock cars go.

Attached picture on this thread is also here on my flickr along with some others of the CSX train that delivered the stock cars and some protest dude. He should have put on a bloody chicken costume and stood outside the Yum! center to really get attention.

I have more that I need to add but I am out of room on my free flickr account. I caught the outbound today when they loaded the elephants back up.
