Title: Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
Post by: Ed Fury on September 16, 2011, 03:31:51 PM
It is my understand that the CVSR has brought in the NKP 765 for steam excursions through their park / rail line and now they are having trouble selling tickets and will end up losing money.

I recently had a friend who was working in Cleveland and he caught this operation going by and took a few photos with his cell phone and sent them to me. He is NOT a rail fan. After simply viewing their excursion train (non steam btw) going by he talked about the next time he is up there he might bring his family and take a train ride. So a non-railfan basically has talked me into having an interest in going to the CVSR.

Does anyone on here have any experience with this operation? I have been thinking of adding this on my "trains to do" list. It is reasonably close to me and seems to have some scenic locations and frequent running times so that you could ride and railfan photograph in the same day.
