Title: Coal Drag Train Symbols
Post by: NSSpike on June 14, 2015, 09:53:49 PM
Back in the good old days on the NS C-Line empty cold drags returning north to Cedartown from Georgia Power plants Yates and Wansley would be odd numbered. Example: A loaded 708 would return as a 709. A 712 would be a 713 empty. Not the case any more. Coal drags retain their even "loaded" number to and from the plants. Currently two trains are supplying coal to Plant Wansley..... NS 600 & NS 708

On the coal trains to plant Scherer loads are even numbered and empties are odd numbered.

So does anyone know or have any ideas why loads and empties are retaining the same even numbered symbol?
In advance, thanks.

I have seen this befour they keep the same number untill they change crews then it should change to an odd number.
