Banjo Signal at Lexington

A couple more from the UK archives of CNO&TP images

The first image is a "banjo" signal, which was the modern replacement for semaphores. I know this is on the CNO&TP, and the MP number on the signal tells us it is in Lexington KY in the early teens...

The second shot is the same location. From what I can tell, this view is looking South towards Danville. The overhead bridge is Virginia ave in Lexington. The Lex depot is behind the photog, around the curve about a half mile or so. This bridge carried VA Ave and the Lexington street Railway over the CS mainline.

I figured  that 2nd one was Virginia ave.  I don't think there are many other  locations in Lexington where they've had to cut that deep that also has  three tracks and a bridge over it .
