NS activity on Labor Day weekend?

Is NS running this weekend? I am in DC for the next 2 weeks and was gonna head over to the CSX Sand Patch area until I hear they are shutting down from Sunday to Tuesday. What is NS going to be like this coming weekend? I may detour to NS in the vicinity of Horseshoe Curve or south to the Pokey.

Unlike CSX, NS has not posted anything on their website (yet).

Railroads run 365 days with limited trains running on major holidays i believe

They'll run. I  live near the main...the only day they shut down is Christmas Day and some on New Years Day.

Typically if there is going to be a holiday shut down NS will put out a release about it. I have seen nothing yet, and with business up the way it is and the crew shortage the way it is I can't see them shutting down again until Thanksgiving. The fall rush is basically upon us.

Normal schedules for T,Y & E employees. MoW&S are off weekend and monday. That is unless... well we all know.
