Train ride thru PA.

Over the weekend I took a round-trip to Harrisburg. On the way up and back I saw what is going at Altoona. I saw the raggity B-unit, new cabs for the older EMD.'s Also I saw several stripped down passenger cars. There was a heavy weight open observation car, plus some Genset cabs.

I remember riding through there back in 1989 on the Broadway Ltd and seeing a bunch of fallen flag paint jobs in the locomotive dead line, the one that sticks out in my mind the most from that trip was a Brunswick Green Reading GP7.

I frequented that area back in the 1980's and still have some photo's from the locomotive dead line. Quite an assortment of old power was there in those days.
