As many know, I am not a fan of Ge, but the old ones, when blue, where kinda cool. Here are a few you wont see on NS rails again...

NS 4809, Former Conrail B40-8 # 5078 dips into the seldom used siding at East Talmage KY. CSX got all of these things, you know what they say, one railroads junk and all...2003

NS 8489, former Conrail C36-7 #6637, leads train 223 at East Harrodsburg KY, 2000

Another Conrail C36-7 leads Soutbound Triple Crown 251 at North Wye, near Danville KY These critters where cute, and you sure didnt see them leading a hot train very often this late in their thankfully short lives. . 2000

I guess I'll post one of mine as well.

Here's B23-7 4036 at CP-Canal in Allentown, PA, in the spring of 2002. I miss seeing the Dash 7's, most of them were gone before I got into photography, and I never got a half decent shot of one.

I prefer black # boards.

Here's mine from Ore Dock Tower in Ashtabula Ohio on what is now CSX.

8305 came through Pomona Friday night headed north, as blue as ever.  I thought 8310 got repainted but retained the black # boards?

Nice picture, River Run Randy! What year was that? I'm guessing it's from the early '90s.
