Title: Old School 'OCS' on the CNO&TP
Post by: E.M. Bell on September 23, 2007, 10:02:20 PM
I hadnt posted any of these for awhile, so here is a double Dose of CS goodness...

We have all seen the pics of the NS theater cars, like the bunea Vista, that the brass use to watch the tracks with in AC comfort and theater seating. The CNO&TP  had such a thing as well..perhaps not as luxurious as its modern day counterpart, but functional. Given the choice, I think I would rather sit in that old wooden box, watching the tunnels fly by as the smoke and cinders rained in....

From the Univeristy of Kentucky Archives. Danville KY, around 1912.

The first thing that came to my mind was "Bunea Vista." It's amazing what can be found in the archives of schools and libraries.
