Title: Vintage tie plates

For those who are interested in these things, I did a drive-by of the signals at Sunbright yesterday and noticed the old tie plates on the little spur there.  Dates included 1939, 1927, and 1926.  And the Tennessee stamp I have seen before on the Clinchfield Loops in NC.  I combined four pix into the one below:

That's very cool! I think I still have my Engineering Standards book that should contain the Southern specs for these plates. Just think of the various types of motive power and other rolling stock these plates have supported over many years.
