NS Internet job applications

Recently NS stopped doing hiring sessions and now takes applications over the internet. I am wondering if anyone has had any success this way and what is the new procedures? Do they just take the applications, then have a hiring session or are the applicants they choose the ones they really want to hire?

A friend of mine did a couple of months ago,and after he filled out the online application,NS contacted him to show up at the same location we had used in the past with a group of others to take the tests,and stay for intreviews.Not much different from before,except they weed out the ones they don't want alot earlier!!

I applied online and they called me back in early December. I had assumed it was like making it past the first cut, so to say, but no, nothing is different from the older ones.

I applied on the internet and was called for a interview. I took the tests and they weeded the people out as the night went on. I was there until 1:00 am. still waiting on my training date to start.
