Title: GP38-3 question
Post by: Badhorse79 on February 24, 2011, 07:40:25 PM
I'm currently (finally getting too) doing 5835 and I know that the middle fan was removed was there a round plate or a entirely new section there I can't find any roof shots

Thanks : Eric

There is a very thin square sheet metal plate that fills almost the entire area between the two remaining fans.  You can see it in this photo if you look very carefully:

Badhorse,
Why are you using brass? I would think a piece of styrene would work. (easier to cut, sand, etc...)

As in the other forum that we started about the 38-3, what decal did you use for the HH decal? N scale or the Ho sheet?
