No! Not That One! More Georgia Division, Columbus District Fun

In this episode, we journey to the yard in Columbus Georgia.  The outbound crew was instructed to take train 334 out of the yard east toward Macon. 

Unfortunately, in the dark at 2 AM, all trains look alike, and our brave crew selected the wrong train to take out!    The error was not discovered until the train had pulled out, causing major confusion and disruption.

15 days off for our hero's that failed to check their paperwork and confirm they were on the right Pony.

That brings to mind the image of Dudley Duright springing onto the horse only to mount it backwards. At least this wasn't a missed red. They could all also claim dyslexia!
