I saw this some place else. Yep got a lot of free time on my hands. The Man of War was a Central of Georgia passenger train. It ran out of Terminal Station in Atlanta and went to Columbus Ga. It went on the joint tracks of C of G and A&WP to East Point where it got on the A&WP to Newnan Ga. It then got on the CofG Cedartown to Griffin line and went a few miles to Raymond Ga and got on the R line. From there to Columbus. The CofG and A&WP had a trackage agreement. The R line has been removed from service and tracks have been removed. The only way a NS train can go from Atlanta to Columbus is through Birmingham or Macon. The Columbus to Americus line has been leased as I understand it.
Along the same lines the old Southern M line out of Columbus I understand it being made into a bike path from 10 street out past Myers. The city has a big park there called Flat Rock.
