GP60 7111 almost ready..again!

GP60 7111 was recently taken out of service for upgrade with Tsunami sound decoder and functioning ditch lights. I also decided to change a few details. A little bit more programming with my NCE Powercab and some touch-up paint work on the new details, she will be back in service. I built 7111 in 2009 using Shellscale decals.

I agree with you Dan. I guess I like them because they were the last 4 axle power that EMD produced (aside from the rebuilds and environment friendly stuff nowadays)

Ever since about 2001 when I watched 4 of them pull one of the first 261's on to the Lehigh Line at CP88 in Bethlehem, PA I fell in love with them. They sounded incredibly powerful and got the train up to track speed in no time at all.
