Title: A Bright Yellow engine on a Gloomy Louisville District
Post by: Gage O'Dell on September 02, 2013, 08:43:31 PM
Yesterday was one of those days where the thing you wanted to happen didn't... but when you didn't want it to happen.. it did. 22A arrived in Danville at 8am Sunday morning.. However, it didn't leave till almost 1130. Finally it passed through South Wye and the chase was on. This was one of my better chase days in a long while. Thanks to 167 getting a Critical Alarm at Avenstoke, NS 22A would have to wait at Coal Chute for a good half hour allowing the sun to get on the good side. The chase went from Danville to East Tucker, having a lot of "paparazzi" along the way... Probably could've done without the Conductor that day, but what can ya do. Some like ya some don't.  Anyway, here are some of the better pics from yesterday. And as always, if you want to check out the rest, they are on my Flickr account right..... here>  http://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/
