First stop on the chase was on the Louisville District at Vanarsdale.

Just a little ways up the road, we joined the caravan at West Talmage

Next, NS I23 passes by Bellow Mills Road, just on the outskirts of Harrodsburg

NS I23 waits patiently for a fuel truck to arrive at West Perryville Street

And the shot I wanted most, as the sun starts to fade, NS I23 passes high overhead on the Green River Bridge at South Fork

Is west perryville "faulkner"?

I like that bridge shot too.

Faulkner is about 5 miles to the north from that location. West Perryville is Danville Yard, it's just called by the street name. Where I was standing was "West Perryville Street" where they generally fuel Southbounds, the other side is "East Perryville"

Awesome shot! It kinda reminds me of a couple of former Erie RR viaducts in upstate NY.
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
