Railfan Weekend 2007 at TRR

Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock, NC just announced that their Railfan Weekend  event for 2007 will be the weekend of September 8 and 9. The details are not finalized as of yet, but I am led to beleive that it should be much the same as this year's event. Saturday featured engine 190 pulling the Wild West Show train and Engine 12 pulling the former EBT coach 5 that has been beautifully restored. The ride in Coach 5 is available to Railfan Weekend ticketholders only. Sunday featured a double header on the Wild West Train, which only happens at this event each year.
All weekend long Railfan passholders are allowed to hike the narrow gauge right of way and take pictures and videos, or just enjoy the line.
E. M. Bell joined Tweetsiefireman and myself for the event, and we all have pictures posted in our galleries here. This event idoes have a limited number of tickets which has not been determined yet. The event sold out last year, and single day passes are available as well. I will try to keep updates available for those that are interested, or you can check out http://www.tweetsie.com for updates.
