A friend of mine in Chattanooga said that TVRM made a mainline test run this morning with SR 630 and 3 cars, from Chattanooga to Cleveland TN and back. No major problems reported with the problematic bearings that sidelined her last year on the way back from Knoxville.

It could be a good year for steam on the NS. While I have not heard of any type of schedule yet, 630 should be out on the mainline for a few trips, along with NKP 765!

Thats great, I was wondering when they would run some test runs. I am hopeing for something out of Roanoke or Linwood/ Charlotte this year.

What was the outcome of 630's break-in run to Attala, AL. I thought there was a thread on here but cannot find it.
