Fall color has seemed less that stellar this year.  I have only lived in TN since February (came from my life-long home in FL), but according to the locals we have had a fairly bad season for this area.  Here in Maryville, a lot of the trees have already gone through their colors and are now bare.  On the other hand, though, there are still a lot that are green.  Apparently the drought we've had the last few months has affected the color.

My dad and I were in Erwin over the weekend and the colors were much better... but still a lot of bare trees due to windstorms a couple days before.  I got some great footage on the ex-Clinchfield though!  ;)

Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
