When I first hired out on NS, I started as a extra board yard clerk in Savannah in May '97.  Worked there for a few months, then a 3rd shift yard clerk job came open in Tennille, home of the Sandersville RR interchange.  Worked there for over a year before I HAD to go to CYO in Atlanta(ugh).

That was the best job on the railroad, moreso for a rail fanatic like me.  So you can see why it broke my heart when I turned off the lights for the last time before starting my "new" job in Atlanta the latter part of 1998.

Here's a pic of the depot.  Unfortunately, I didn't work in the big one.  It was torn down sometime around the mid '70s.  Nope, I worked in that little brick one beside it that was built to take its place.
