Went over to North Carolina and Virginia last weekend for the first excursions on the year for NW 611.. It was a beautiful weekend all around, long and tiring, but as all death marches and steam trips go, so very worth it.. Saturday April 8th, The Virginian Trips
NW 611 through Jamestown, NC on the return to Spencer
NW 611 near Reidsville, NC on the return to Spencer
NW 611 in Altavista, VA on the trip to Lynchburg
Sunday April 9th, Charlotte Special and Piedmont Limited
NW 611 departing Spencer, heading toward Charlotte
NW 611 crossing the Yadkin River Bridge, heading for Greensboro

I looked at these and those of the 611 on your Flickr account. You make very nice pictures; good lighting, etc.

Great pics, I remember seeing 611 come through Hammond Indiana when I was a kid.
