Some of the gang gathered here at the house this evening for pizza, and we where discussing what to do for the night. . It was decided that instead of watching Dick Clark get younger , that we would load up and head to Danville to shoot our last pics of 2005 and the first of 2006.  Randy, Caleb, Kathy and myself headed out around 2200, and here are the results. Im sure the other guys will chime in with their shots as well.

NS 275 fuels at West Perryville street in Danville (ky) just a few minutes before Midnight on New Years Eve...my last shot of 2005..

About 0015 on New years morning, the first Southbound of 2006 enters Danville. NS 44A grain train off the Louisville side with freshly painted NS 3399 leading a all EMD consist..

44A gets fuel at Perryville street while the 05 yard crew switches 124's train on the North Main.

The last train of 05 and the first train of 06 in Danville both had EMD leaders, plus the 124 had a sweet all EMD consist..that must be a good omen for the new year!

Wow!  It's great to see all those standard cab engines.  Seems like all we get here in Louisville anymore is wide cabs and auto racks...
