A quick poll...... if you had a few hours to spend on Friday would I be better off mid morning or early afternoon in and around Danville?

It's been awhile since I been a railfannin' but I'd say mid morning. Mid afternoon has usually been the dull spot of the day for any real action.

Morning, up through mid afternoon is "usually" the buisest time around DV Things usually seem to slow down around 1400 or so, and stay that way sometime up into the evening. Of course, that is subject to the traffic, and everyday is differnt.
