Southern 722 to return to service

Hey everyone! Just got off the phone with some exciting/promising news about Southern Railway #722. Some of you may remember her brief career on the Southern Excursion Program. My source says that GSMR got some grant money and is going to send her off for a full restoration and is planning on having her back under steam on July 4, 2008. This engine is a real beauty and rumor has it, she will be painted in her Excursion Duty paint and lettering (Southern Green with Gold lettering.) Also of note, GSMR 1702 will undergo a boiler restoration and is scheduled to be back under steam with 722. I will post updates as soon as the engine moves and work starts and as I find out more. Keep your fingers crossed folks and hope for the best.
