NKP 765 Throttle Time!

Hey everyone,
The folks up in Fort Wayne are having Throttle Time December 2nd with NKP 765. I am flying up Dec 1st and will have my throttle time some time between 11am-4pm on the 2nd. If anyone is interested go to www.765.org.

Hi Bart!

When you get up there take a second to give the throttle a yank for me; been a long time since I pulled on the throttle of a steam locomotive though I did ride in the cab of NKP 765 when she first came to my area, good steaming engine as I recall.

I can definetely do that for you! I havent touched a steam locomotive throttle in over 3 years and cant wait. Just coming out of an overhaul, 765 should steam great. Ill post a full trip report with photos when I return. "Start the Fires and unchock the tires!"
