At least you have those memories, and good ones at that. A couple of years ago, my wife and mother got together and had a photo that I had taken many years ago (and forgot about)  enlarged and gave it to me for Christmas. It hangs proudly on our living room wall now, but I will share it with you.

My father, Wallace Bell, with the N&W 611 at Lexington KY in the early 1990's. Dads been gone for several years now, about as long as 611 has been cold. As I said, good memories...

Great memories and photo enginecrew and EB. This is what railroading is all about. I have a photo with Father Allen and myself in front of 1702 about 5 months before he died. One of my most treasured photos.
