Title: Early summer AM on the NS Reading line
Post by: dschlegel on June 29, 2016, 07:59:40 AM
On my drive to work this morning I stopped in Macungie, PA to catch an eastbound manifest, I think it may have been 33A. The sun angle was really nice as the power passed an ex-Reading block signal.

Nice! Just think- this line was in rough shape and underutilized in the late Reading/early Conrail era. It looks so much better now.  8)

Agreed on the shape of the line being better now than ever! I remember the early CR years and jointed rail on the eastbound main, wow what a difference!
