What's to become of NCDOT 1792?

Not an NS loco I know, but it met it's fate on NS rails.  Anyone know if a decision has been made on what to do with this unit?

Sitting in the yard in Raleigh right now. I would almost be sure it is a total loss. I was in Durham when it happened and caught the hospital train bringing it back. It was torn up and has a bent frame.

Heard from a few sources today that she will be scrapped. RIP 1792
