What's the story on 139 and 140?

It seems NS is re-routing 139 and 140 via Asheville.  I saw 140 last night at 9:00 near Asheville and saw 139 today (with 2 BNSF's) near Marion, NC.  How long is this re-route going on?

I do not know for sure; However, These trains are periodically re-routed this way to avoid Atlanta during times of congestion.
