These two engines are sided in the Lexington yard and may be there awhile.They look like they want to retire ! Maybe someone has some insight on them.I noticed the badge CCET.
The exAlaska GP49s were on the CCET east of Cincy. Attached is a photo of the front of CCET 2806, NS SD60E 6941 and RJC 1504 in the Lexington yard on Saturday.

The two Alaskan units are from CCET around Cincinnati and are getting some work done by RJ Corman to get them up and running and ready for service

Those Alaska engines are being serviced at Corman. They're going back to the Cincy area to run on that shortline up there.

Indeed, those units have unique pilots. Nice to see you posting Backyard. It has been too long.
Those front steps are made that way due to the extreme snow those units had to work in. Snow wont get packed into those like they would normal EMD step wells.
