CSX re-routes to end

CSX says that the bridge near DC will be repaired on or near Dec 7th. This should put a stop to all the CSX traffic moving over NS at this time, well, at least to the next big one  ;D

Word here in DC locally is that the Anacostia Bridge may remain out of service until just before Christmas, apparently the foundations of the bridge were also compromised and are taking considerably longer to repair than expected.

December 17th is a date that's being thrown around now, if I hear more, I'll pass it along.

Apparently the local rumors aren't to be trusted.

S439 and Q410 both used Track 2 on the Anacostia Bridge today, and the re-route trains are being shifted back to the RF&P.

See how long this lasts before the bridge tilts again.
