NS F units to be featured at the Meridian MS Railfest

Word on the street has it that the NS F units will be a star feature at this years  Meridian Railfest on November 3rd.

The F units are being featured in celebration of the two railroads'
joint venture to upgrade and signal the KCS "Meridian Speedway" route
from Meridian to Shreveport , La. Plans are also being finalized for
a book signing with author and photographer J. Parker Lamb, featuring
his newly released book, "Evolution of the American Diesel
Locomotive." Visitors will also be able to see a new HO-scale model
railroad under construction by the Meridian Model Railroad Club,
which covers a 950-square-foot area.
