Searchlite signals at Oakdale (...25 Tunnel...) soon to be taken down...

All...  Here are a few pictures of the old searchlite Tunnel 25 signals at Oakdale... They will soon be gone...
I purposely changed them to black and white because they are the past and are fading away very quickly... Soon, no one will know about them except us "true believers" ...

The new signal mast is up for the new traffic lite southbound signal at Tunnel 25... The new bungalow is set for the new signal; but the cable hasn't been run yet... Sadly, it wont be long before these signals will be gone...

I understand about progress and the need to upgrade equipment and facilities; yet i hate to see these stately old sentinels of another era go... Better take a good look, they won't be there much longer...
