The RICHWOOD & TAHOE RR
      Crestview Hills, KY

Though slightly off-topic and at the far northern reach of our group,
this could be a fun outing for Saturday.  Crestview Hills is just east of Erlanger
(which you may know of  ).  Details listed below.

The R&TRR is a  private railroad with app. one mile of track, a tunnel, nice grades,
a little village, a nice station and water tank.  The track forms a balloon at each end
so that the train  reverses and covers the layout in both directions.  
The firebox burns diesel fuel.


When: Saturday, 10/3/09
          9am - 12:30pm

Cost: $10 per person (adult)

Yes, we have a private live steam railroad in our own backyard.
It's called the Richwood & Tahoe RR, a large scale model railroad.  
Gauge is app. 2 foot.  The train consists of a 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive,
2 open air cars and a caboose (children only).
