Base Antenna

I am looking to purchase a base antenna and have been looking at the Diamond X300A. Anybody have any pros/cons about this model? What is everyone else using/have any other suggestions?

I have used a Hy_gain VHF ground plane antenna, and have had excellent results. This model is tunable and well-built. It is available here: http://www.hy-gain.com/products.php?prodid=GPG-2B .

I also use a radio shack antenna that is similar to the above model, except Radio Shack's version is hardly as rugged as the hy-gain version.
